This Guy Tried This 1 Fitness Habit For 30 Days & Here’s What Happened!

In the world where there’s just so much fitness content to choose from, it can be intimidating for a beginner to start their fitness journey. Mayank Bhattacharya, Men’s Lifestyle YouTuber & Entrepreneur, shares this 1 Fitness Habit that he has tried and urges a lot of people to do the same.

Now, don’t get me wrong here; motivation is nice, inspiration is nice. Seeing Brian Shaw, Kai Greene & Arnold Schwarzenegger talk about their massive pump and work ethic is nice but I don’t think it is practical and makes sense to most of the folks around here“, he says.

What does that suppose to mean? Let me explain. For most of the people who are either working or are currently studying, it isn’t practical to hit the gym twice a day and concentrate on consuming the amount of protein professional bodybuilders need to. What a lot of people need is a practical solution to maintain their fitness levels along with the busy lifestyle that many people have.

If you’re a fitness enthusiast like me, the fitness world might not be intimidating to you. But for the person who has never been to a gym or someone who does not have access to a genuine source of information, these things can get really really intimidating. What exercises to do, what not, what to eat, what to avoid, etc. There are just too many Whats, Whys and Hows in the game that they’re entering in.

The last thing I would want from your fitness journey or transformation is for it to be anything scary or intimidating. I want you to love this process because I love this process. Doing any kind of resistance training, any kind of weight training is supposed to be fun and exciting“, He says.

For people who are already into sports, weight lifting or resistance training comes a bit more naturally as compared to those who have not been physical to that extent in their life and they’ll need to start somewhere in order to start loving this process. Mayank says, “I want you to start right here, 1 set of 10 reps, 1 day at a time. 1 set of 10 squats, 1 set of 10 push-ups, 1 set of as many chin-ups that you can do, 1 set of 1 km jog

This is a good way to start. Start slow, develop a love for the process of weight lifting or resistance training and you’ll start elevating your fitness game in no time. Start with 10 push-ups one day at a time and in the next month or so, start with a full-fledged home workout routine, start hitting the gym, you get the idea.

The whole point is to get you to start loving this process instead of the end result that a lot of people crave but unfortunately don’t achieve. WHY? Because they don’t love the process and good things take time. For weight lifting to get you any results, you’ll have to invest your time and energy.

This is not just 1 fitness habit but also a mindset and lifestyle habit that a lot of people should incorporate in their lives. Mayank says “When you experience the change caused by weight training, caused by physical fitness, caused by this daily workout that you did to your brain, your thoughts and your physical body, you’ll not want to go back to your daily average life. You’ll want the change. You’ll want it daily.” The idea here is not to impose this routine on yourself or this new lifestyle habit on yourself but genuinely want it from the inside in order to grow in life.
